Progress on my Scootaloo costume:
cape is 100% complete
with gold lining
purple hairspray obtained
a pair of orange fairy wings from the dollar store which i have transformed into pegasi wings (well… except I can’t remove the glitter…)
a little plastic “crusader” shield (also from the dollar store… it has a gold dragon on it, but it kind of reminds me of Discord…)

My entire family have horses, and one of the things we do is cross country jumping (big, solid “natural” fences, more often than not they have silly names such as a “Tiger Trap”)
However there is an element called a “Devils Dyke” or just shortened to Dyke. After coming out to my parents, this has led to some very awkward but hilarious conversations, my favourite being:
